For brambleghast, while I love the redesign, it would have been cool if the hands were less hand like/ organic. Mif they were more half-sphere shapes that still function like hands when needed, but when it needs to move fast (moving long distances with the wind seems to be a core of the pokemon) it crouches into a ball and pulls its shovel/ half-sphere hands to close it in a cage. While your redesign could still do that. Pushing that more would of added a bit. All imo of course still looks awesome.

I agree so much with this video. Gamefreak, please hire these guys for design direction. Just have them tell you which of your designs suck, because they understand. They get it.

I'm slightly late to the party. I tried clicking on the links to the game download, but all it led to was an error page on the Pokecommunity site. Was the game taken down? Or is there another way to get the game? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

The only thing I disagree with is the Mr. Mime redesign, especially the floppy arms parts. IMO what make miming works is it needs "human" limbs to do things that human limbs aren't normally able to. Like if I see an octopus do mime things I would just think "well that's just what octopus hands do". But if I see a human do mime things I would think "Holy shit!!! How can it do that with it's human hands!!" The other designs, no notes, 10/10

The first Xul is cooler than the second one. Your execution is awesome but the character lost power, at least for me. It's not about the way you did. It's about the new briefing. Anyway, congratulations for the quality.

My favorite creature design is from the Monster hunter series...one of th eways I view art is a way to bring our imagination to life and well...Monster Hunter meets that Qouta bery good..playing the games the creatures sfeel like they belong there

Maybe it's because I haven't played League for the 11 years before her release and she was one of my first champions played, but I don't get the "Seraphine doesn't belong" arguments. Her design definitely incorporates enough elements from Piltover's aesthetic to be recognizable, once you get past the giant mass of pink hair (which also isn't out of place, look at other characters from the region, Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Ekko, and even characters released after like Zeri). She has blue crystals in gold inlays, she has the brown belt, she has a choker that looks like a fancy aristocratic collar. Sure, she doesn't look like your average Piltovan laywoman, but that's because these aren't her average Piltovan laywoman clothes, it's her stage outfit, of course it's flashy and eye-catching. This is a world with mech suits, guns that fire magic, teleportation gates and literal robots, but people think glitter is out of place.

Just to list out some thoughts for the dinosaurs, from a more scientific side. For something like Argentinosaurus, I'd say that if you're putting together the list for a challenge, make sure you're using animals with good remains. There are other South American titanosaurs with better material, including the massive and very complete Patagotitan, or the well known and well known (as well as incredibly named) Dreadnoughtus. The tail fact seems weird, but I still wouldn't wanna get hit by one, it'd probably still keep me in one piece but it would be like getting hit by a car. A different group of sauropods, the flagellicaudatans (whip tailed) are more commonly thought of as specially using their tails. Some being found with thin osteoderms that are occasionally restored like a bladed mace on the tip of the tail. Shunosaurus and some others are also sauropods with tail clubs! And for sauropods, they don't have front toes, except for singular inward facing claws in the more basal ones. The most derived don't even have finger bones. Which, I think Argentinosaurus would fall under. Saltasaurus is also similar, so flat front feet. And thin, not round, they had a crescent shaped front footprint, so there were no fleshy pads at the back. They also would have nearly universally held their necks more upright, sometimes very upright. Or universally more laterally, if you are on that side. Except for about one small family that held its neck flat and low, and everyone agrees on that. Additionally, I'm not sure if they would have had flabby skin. Horses don't, giraffes don't, cows don't. It's not the same scale but neither is an elephant, they have special skin. They were once called Pachyderms after all, along with hippos and rhinos. Regarding Hatzegopteryx, you have fallen for problems with pterosaur anatomy common in the inexperienced: The head is too small. The tail is too long. You forgot the propatagium. And for an azhdarchid specifically, the wings are too long, the neck might be too short and a little too bendy. But the big things are the wings, the tail, the head. The head needs to be the length of the neck. and the body needs to be half the length of the neck, approximately, the tail should be very short. The arms should go nearly straight down, and the finger should come right back up, but not far beyond the body. The rule for drawing pterosaurs: if the head looks too big, make sure it's not too small. And look up Zheijiangopterus or Quetzalcoatlus for a full skull of these freaks, because it's different. I think Carnotaurus has too small a tail, and it probably shouldn't have so sharp a line on the side, since it would be more round and sausage-like. The torso is also maybe too short. And the legs may be too long and the feet too big, one of the things we don't have from Carnotaurus is anything below the knee. The Giganotosaurus is a nightmare to research, as it hasn't been properly described. But this one resembles more early 2000s depictions of it as an overgrown Allosaurus. Which is not the case. Some good close relatives include Mapusaurus, Tyrannotitan, and Meraxes (someone finally got to name something after a GoT dragon) It also appears to have too small a head. I think the Deinocheirus also has a small head, which seems to be a pattern. Irritator may have too small a head, as does Cryodrakon, along with some other problems similar to Hatzegopteryx, and a bird beak. I'm almost sure Xenoceratops has too small a head, since it's a ceratopsid, but you did make the head slowly larger. And watching you do Dilophosaurus I think the head was the right size, and then was shrunken, like giving it a too long neck and a too small head, like Deinocheirus. Make sure the head is big, check that the animal has good reference, and remember that animals have weird as hell proportions. Cheers for including so many non dinosaurs, such a fun video! Also sharks are yellow and green and bright white and black spotted, look at zebra sharks and leopard sharks and wobbegongs if you want your sharks to look more intriguing. PS. Dyoplosaurus did NOT have nougat in its tail, no matter what you heard. Only jealousy.

The palophin redesign pose looks like when dolphins sate across the top of water on their tail fins. My favorite redesigns were definitely mamoswine, manectric, beartic and palophin as those are the pokemon I want to like but have issues with their original designs.

comparing the skeletons of mammals with reptiles was the biggest mistake in this video, the insertion of muscles in the two groups is totally different, I know that during the 60s until the beginning of the 2000s the right thing to do was to make animals with the skin covering the bones, Of course, nowadays we see that these animals would have tissues that would cover sutures between one bone and another, but comparing mammals with reptiles is the biggest mistake in this video.

Just started but I'm so excited to watch. I was the easiest kid to buy for. Every Christmas & birthday I'd end up with piles of books on dinosaurs. I was obsessed. & it has been inspiring seeing just how much we've learned about prehistoric life, & how common views on these animals have shifted. In my lifetime alone.

Very late to this but I think it would be interesting if there were missing body parts and her "void skin" was sort of cannibalizing her to sustain itself, like her legs from the knees down belonging to a non-human appearance, rather than being boots. I'm reminded of how the Nanosuit in the Crysis series takes apart its user for the purpose of "repairing" them. Heck, an element of "hunger" could be done to her stomach where it's almost caved in, or has a sort of "gill" like look rather than the normal human abdominal shape. "Survivor pushed to extremes" is a great canvas for body horror especially when it comes to creating a dichotomy between human and monster, prey and predator. It's just a shame that the in-game design is so lame.

I don’t even play league and I think this is a neat and characterful redesign. Only thing i would say is maybe the arms/legs should have been more like a mix of arthropods and branches instead of mammalian flesh, just to give her a bit more distinction.

As someone who loves Delphox, I like this redesign. I don't think it's necessarily better, but it is more interesting and detailed. I agree that the stick wand should've become a staff. I like the witch hat but personally I think that should be reserved for a hypothetical Mega Evolution (pls Game Freak give us Megas for the Kalos starters in Z-A) so there's something to add. Though I do agree with the comments that said the face looks more like a cat than a fox. It looked better in the sketch.

The Mr. Mime redesign is a VAST improvement! It still looks like a mime/jester without looking too much like a human(I always thought Mr. Mime looked like a middle aged man). I love how you made Mr. Mime’s weird hair horns actually look like a jester’s hat, brought back Mime Jr.’s eyes, and exaggerated the portions

I think grumpig would be a good design if it wasn’t spoinks evolved form.

While this Beartic is wayyyy better, the awful shape language of Beartic makes him into a mountain, the slober is the frsty peak, and the arms are like the fellow peaks. That said it only really shows in a static pose.
